Paraguay is fresh off of a convincing win over the U.S. and demolishing Colombia. This is a great beginning for coach Gerardo Martino with Paraguay, bringing a more offensive and ball controlling style of play.

They are also playing to avoid Brazil in the next round, however, any team that is trying to be champion must beat anyone.

A tie will assure Paraguay first place in the group, due to a better goal average.

The Paraguayan defense has been as good as ever, with their fighting spirit. That spirit has always been part of their playing style. Central defender Julio Cesar Caceres has been unpassable.

Argentina comes to the last game with six points after beating the U.S. and Colombia. Their play has been very good especially upfront.

It is possible that many of the Argentine players, like Juan Roman Riquelme and Lionel Messi, will be rested for the game against Paraguay.

The only change on the Argentine national team due to injury will be Hernan Crespo. Crespo Injured himself playing against Colombia.

Argentina will want to give players that have not been receiving playing time a shot on the field.
