Argentina is the favorite.
The Argentine squad has worked to perfection in the tournament, they won all of their games so far. They have scored 16 goals and only received 3.

Argentina has 14 America Cup titles, and is tied all time with Uruguay. Brazil has seven America Cup titles.

Argentina coach Alfio Basile has many world class players at his disposition, like Lionel Messi, Carlos Tevez, Juan Román Riquelme, Pablo Aimar, and Javier Zanetti.

"When we arrived here, and after seeing the team, I thought we had a team good enough to be champion", stated Basile in a press conference. Basile also stated that, "we still have one game to play".

Crespo is back from his injury and will be on the bench for the final. "Crespo pulled a muscles and has not practiced with the team in 12 days, and Tevez came in and played well, so he will start", he stated. "He is fit enough to play, yesterday he practiced lightly".

Brazil coach Dunga, also, does not have any doubts in his line up. The only change to the team is Elano or Fernando coming for the suspended Gilberto Silva.

"Gilberto is a very important player, he is the leader of the team, but I have players ready to play", affirmed Dunga.

Basile is not happy about playing during the day, because of the heat of Maracaibo.

"I imagine that the rhythm of the game tomorrow will be slow, because of the hour", indicated Basile. "The most important thing for Argentina will be to control the ball, and Brazil will try the same.

Dunga believes that Argentina is the favorite to win the America Cup title, due to the way they have been playing.

"Argentina is the favorite, but Brazil is calm", stated Dunga.

For Basile everything is a psychological game.

"They throw the ball to the other side. We know we have a great team, but they do also", he indicated.
