Visa renews as Olympic sponsor through 2020

LAUSANNE, Switzerland (AP) Visa has extended its sponsorship deal with the International Olympic Committee through 2020.

The agreement was signed in Moscow on Tuesday, though the value was not disclosed.

Visa follows Coca-Cola and Omega as a top-tier partner of the IOC for the next six Olympics.

The credit card company was a founder member of the global Olympic partnership program in 1986.

The IOC already has nine top-tier partners, including Visa, paying a total of $883 million for the 2010 Vancouver Olympics and 2012 London Games.
