Barely One, but a Key One

The city of Frankfurt has only one airport, the Flughafen. It is the city's main point of arrival and departure and it receives numerous flights from all over the world.

Frankfurt has warm weather. In Winter, average temperature is 34ºF, and in Summer, it goes up to 64ºF approximately.

Initially, Frankfurt's countless skyscrapers concentrate everybody's attention. However, the city is not limited to just that, and proof of this is a well respected Culturel area. The city has several historic points, along with scores of museums, theaters and bars.

Zeil Street: Luxury

Frankfurt also pleases those tourists interested in shopping. The city downtown streets live off them. The most famous one is Zeil Street. This long street is one of the most visited by those who want to bring a souvenir home.

The FrankfurtCard

There are different options. In Frankfurt, you can buy a card called FrankfurtCard. It allows you to travel for free throughout the urban area in all means of transport belonging to RMV.

Moreover, the card entitles you to discounts in 15 museums, gardens, zoos, Henninger Tower and Maredo restaurants, among other places.

El The card is valid for one day and it costs approximately 6 euros.

Not Too Strong

Frankfurt is not very strong at soccer. In the past, the only club in the city, the Eintracht Frankfurt, was more respected. Nowadays, it is always fighting to avoid going down to 2nd Division, and it is always between 1st and 2nd division.
