Places of Interest
The Royal Gardens of Herrenhausen, with the Great Garden. Built in 1666, it is the only baroque room in Europe that has remained unchanged, with a big fountain (up to 270 ft), a theater from 1689, a gallery with the baroque room and the largest fresco cycle from Northern Germany.
"Eilenriede", an area of 7,000 ft² and many breweries with garden (Biergarten) for rest, sports and more.

The New City Hall (built in 1613), with an oblique elevator leading to the dome gallery.
Hanover Congress Centrum, a neoclassic building dated from 1914; the first German Garden Exhibition was held in its surrounding park in 1951.
