A Very Rich City
There are many attractions in Hanover. Below you will find some of them:
The Royal Gardens of Herrenhausen, with the Great Garden: the only European baroque room that remained unchanged; built in 1666 with a large fountain (up to 90 yards), a theater dated back to 1689 and a gallery with the baroque room and the largest fresco cycle from Northern Germany.
"Eilenriede", an area of 0.16 acres and many breweries with gardens (Biergarten) for rest, sports, and more.
The Berggarten greenhouse: the most recent attraction in the botanic garden.
The New City Hall (built in 1613), with an oblique elevator leading to the dome gallery.
Hanover Congress Centrum, a neoclassic building dated back to 1914; the first German Garden Exhibition was held in its surrounding park in 1951.
